The initial contact from Claire was professional and demonstrated a company who want to provide their customers with a quality service – a refreshing change from a previous provider of cleaning services.
The Cleanhome service is very efficient: they found me a reliable cleaner and were very attentive to my needs.
We have been using your cleaning service since May 2015 and are very pleased with the cleaner we have each week. She is very trustworthy, reliable and helpful and I am very happy with the service we receive.
Dawn has been punctual and has carried out her required duties in a conscientious and very acceptable manner. I have no hesitation in recommending her.
Cleaning tools are a key part to keeping everything clean. Things such as sponges, clothes and rags are all integral tools we use almost every day. Eventually however these tools will need to be cared for or replaced. We have researched when you should do this for all major cleaning tools.
These are used daily for us when washing our dishes. Bestlifeonline.com says these should be added to your shopping list and replaced every week. This will keep your dishes clean and and surface you wipe with them sanitary.
One of our other blogs this month covered how to clean your mop so will just repeat what they said previously. Mop heads can be cleaned and maintained however should be replaced every few months to ensure your floors stay clean.
Most cleaning rags should almost never need to be replaced. As long as they are machine washed regularly and air dried to minimize the damp smell these should be able to be continually used. Microfiber cloths should be replaced every few months or when they become too worn to work efficiently.
Cleaning gloves have no set expiry date. Unlike other cleaning tools these can be kept for quite a long time. Once these start to show signs of degradation you should bin them for good.
These are great tools used to clean almost anything from dishes to the bathtub. These are very useful and as long as they are washed and cleaned regularly should only need replacing when the bristles on the brush become unusable.
Feather dusters do not necessarily need to be replaced because they are dirty. If they are cleaned by shaking them out outside every week and then washed using warm water and a small amount of dish soap once a month then these should only need to be replaced once the feathers start to fall out.
All these tips and more can be found on our ever growing blog section and social media pages.

The government has made it clear that cleaners are still permitted to work inside peoples' homes as long as Government Guidelines on social distancing and staying safe are followed (see below). In summary:

The full text can be found here New National Restrictions from 5 January (in England; there are similar texts available for Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland). Specifically relating to cleaners, the guidance continues: 'This guidance applies to those working in, visiting or delivering to home environments. These include, but are not limited to, people working in the following areas:
Note this guidance is for people who are fit and well, and is dependent on the following social distancing guidelines being followed:
The good news with regard to cleaning is that the cleaners can social distance from their clients very easily, and we would advise that, if you are at home when they are there, that you remain in a separate room to your cleaner.
If you are happy to adhere to the government guidelines - and if your cleaner has not been in touch already - then please just call the office and we will ensure that your cleaning continues.
Best regards
